Performance
The 2025 Chevy Tahoe comes in six trims at our Wilmington, DE Chevy dealership, with three available engines. The standard engine is a 5.3-liter V8 that achieves 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Available for select trims is a 6.2-liter V8 engine rated at 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
Most trims are also eligible for the third option: a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine capable of 305 horsepower and 495 lb-ft of torque. It’s upgraded this year with more torque and 10% more horsepower. A 10-speed automatic transmission pairs with all three engines.
Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard and four-wheel drive (4WD) optional for all trims except the off-road-focused 2025 Chevy Tahoe Z71, which comes standard with 4WD and an Autorac® two-speed transfer case. Available ride enhancements for this trim and others include a four-corner Air Ride adaptive suspension and Magnetic Ride Control™.
Infotainment
The big infotainment news for the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe is its new center touchscreen, which at 17.7 inches is the largest screen in its class. It runs Google built-in and the Google App Suite, and supports appealing tech such as wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, satellite radio, and a 5G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot. Meanwhile, the new Trailer Tire Health feature monitors trailer tire life, while the available Trailer Navigation system helps you calculate routes based on trailer size.
Safety
