What do you like most about working at Diver?

I truly enjoy all of my colleagues. Being new on any team is sometimes challenging, but it hasn't been that way here at Diver. I've always found everyone to be very helpful. We all have a lot of fun together, while getting the job at hand done! Everyone is always willing to help out by lending a hand when needed.

What are the rewards of your job?

I love helping people and seeing them happy when they purchase the perfect vehicle. People often want a specific color or customization, and there are even some who still look for stick shifts. I love to help them all get what they want...and need.

What trends have you seen in the auto industry lately?

I think car sales will continue to shift toward shop/click/drive, but there will still be the need for the educated and passionate sales professional who just wants to make shopping as seamless an experience as possible. We're also seeing more car and truck leases than ever before.

How do most people buy cars in Wilmington ?

People generally have an idea of what they are looking for before they come to the dealership. In this day and age, people have access to information on the Internet and are usually well educated.

What's the most memorable sale that you've made at Diver?

I once helped a young 20-year-old woman purchase her first vehicle. She was with her father, but he was here only for support because he couldn't help her financially. It was challenging getting her financed but it all came together, and she was actually able to purchase a new vehicle. She assumed she would have to purchase a used car, so she was thrilled to get a new one!
